Al Ain Zoo

Al Ain Zoo was established in 1968 by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Al Ain Zoo stands as a testament to the commitment of United Arab Emirates to wildlife conservation and environmental education. Al Ain Zoo span approximately 400 hectares at the foothills of Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain. This sanctuary is home to over 4,000 animals which represents more than 200 species that include many that are endangered.
