A defining feature of the design of hotel is the expansive grid shell which is a 217 meter curvilinear steel and glass canopy that envelops the two towers and the bridge. This grid shell is composed of approximately 5,800 pivoting diamond-shaped glass panels, each equipped with an LED lighting system.
