Qasr Al Watan was designed as an active government building which is serving as the official meeting place for the UAE Cabinet, the Federal Supreme Council and hosting state visits. The construction of Qasr Al Watan was completed in 2017 and it was officially opened to the public on March 11, 2019 under the vision of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan who was the late President of the UAE. If you are coming through car then free parking is available at the Visitor Centre and then followed by a shuttle bus ride to the palace.

Taxi and ride hailing apps like Uber and Creem are easily accessible via Abu Dhabi and considered the most convenient way to visit Qasr Al Watan.

You can take public buses that run from Abu Dhabi city center to the palace with stops nearby.
