The Etihad Museum is located in Dubai is a dynamic
institution dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history of UAE
particularly focusing on the events leading up to the formation of the UAE in
1971. It is situated at 1 Jumeira Road and the museum stands as a testament to
the country`s journey towards unification and offers visitors an immersive
experience into its founding story. The museum is strategically located at the
very site where the UAE`s founding fathers signed the declaration that marked
the formation of the United Arab Emirates on 2 December 1971. This historic
event took place in what was formerly known as the Union House and now
integrated into the museum complex. The Etihad Museum not only preserves this

Architectural
Design of Etihad Museum
It is designed by Moriyama & Teshima Architects and the
architecture of museum is symbolic and modern. The structure is shaped to
resemble a manuscript symbolizing the signing of the UAE`s constitution. Seven
columns rise from the building to represent the pens used by the leaders of the
seven emirates to sign the unification agreement. This thoughtful design
encapsulates the spirit of unity and the significance of the historic event

The Etihad Museum is open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
with the last entry permitted at 7:00 PM. Guided tours are available daily at
11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM which offers deeper insights into the
